A great park for a walk but far to many off lead dogs causing issues.

点评：As I dog owner I believe its important to ensure my border collie is under my control. Sadly , as much as a love Sefton park there are far to many out of control dogs. I kept mine on his lead as I'm considerate of other people who might be scared of or not like dogs and other dog walkers. We were approached by 4 dogs in 30 mins. Our dog has been trained not to react but clearly some owners don't have control. One labs owner instructing me to pull his dog away by its collar!!! Other dogs diving into the lake. Frightened toddlers being approached by dogs nearly as big as them.
I saw 2 people arguing about 2 dogs who were fighting over a ball.
Sefton council introduced new policies in 2024 including
"Dogs to be kept on a lead within defined picnic sites and family areas in parks."
This is clearly not being enforced and when I told the labs owner that his fog should be on a lead and under control as per Sefton Council Policy I was met with a barrage of verbal abuse.
Off lead dogs where everywhere. As a long time dog owner I'm very aware of others and that parks are for everyone.
I won't be returning anytime soon. Such a shame as its a lovely park.

到处都是没拴绳的狗。作为一名资深的狗主人，我非常尊重他人，也明白公园是属于所有人的。
我近期不会再来了。真是太可惜了，因为那本来是一个很棒的公园。
