An Easily Underestimated Attraction
King Street的点评
点评：It's easily to dismiss King Street as just another street but there is an incredible range of architecture through the ages to be found along it. We've walked the full length on several occasions during our recent visit to Norwich and it felt perfectly safe late in the evening. In fact, we saw no evidence of any nefarious activities at any time of day. It's interesting to note that there were once 58 pubs in King Street but now there is only one - aptly named the Last Pub Standing.
We've rarely encountered such a diverse range of architecture along a single road before. There are private dwellings from the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st centuries juxtaposed with those dating from the medieval period. Some of these - such as the city walls, Dragon Hall, the Music House, - are covered in more detail elsewhere on Trip Advisor so I won't repeat but it is worth saying that King's Street is definitely worth a walk along for anyone interested in history particularly architectural history.
