点评：Lovely property but ruined by staff attitude and random closing times not on their website. I visited the other day and the house closed 20 minutes early. I let that slide but then the watermill closed 15/20 mins early too and they were trying to close up the gardens at just after 4. Just after 4 I asked for directions to the watermill and was told it was over 20 minutes to walk and the same back so i wouldn’t make it in time and they are trying to close!!! I ended up doing it anyways, despite being made to feel like a criminal for doing so and it took 15 mins max there and back including stopping to take pics so they were not even telling the truth just to get me to leave. The whole last hour felt like being pressured to get out so they could close and ruined the entire experience. Tickets to these places are not cheap if you are not a member, which I am and nor is petrol. If they are going to try and close up an hour early and make you feel bad for staying till closing time then it should be on the website. It wasn’t even done nicely or apologetically but with a rude edge. A lovely property ruined by some rude staff. The volunteers in the house were nice enough but it was the ones around the front desk area. I’ve been to about 40 properties now and this one and Culzean castle in Skye rank as the ones with the rudest staff and that really ends up reflecting badly on the whole property. The cafe staff in the small cafe were lovely though.

翻译：这是一处很不错的景点，但却因为员工的态度以及网站上未公布的随意关闭时间而毁了体验。前几天我去参观，结果房子提前20分钟就关门了。我也就没计较。但后来水车磨坊也提前15到20分钟关闭了，而他们甚至在4点刚过就试图关闭花园。4点刚过，我询问去水车磨坊的路线，工作人员却告诉我步行过去需要20多分钟，返回也是同样时间，所以我肯定赶不上了——而他们正试图关门呢！！最后我还是坚持去了。尽管我这么做后被弄得好像是个罪犯似的，实际上往返那里最多也就15分钟，期间还停下来拍了些照片；他们为了逼我离开，甚至连真话都不肯说。最后那一个小时，我感觉自己一直被施压着要离开，好让他们能关门，这完全毁掉了我的整个体验。如果不是会员的话，这些景点的门票可不便宜，而我恰好是会员；汽油价格也同样不菲。如果他们打算提前一小时关门，还想让一直待到关店时间的人感到尴尬，那这种信息理应出现在网站上。可他们不仅没有礼貌地说明或道歉，反而态度粗鲁。这么棒的场所，却被一些没礼貌的工作人员给毁了。馆内的志愿者们倒都挺友善的，问题出在前台附近的那些人。到目前为止，我已经参观过大约40处景点，这家和斯凯岛上的卡尔泽恩城堡的服务员态度最为恶劣，这种糟糕的服务也严重影响了整个景点的整体印象。不过，小咖啡馆里的员工倒是非常友善可爱。
