点评：I just got back from Charleville Castle, and I’m still trying to process how incredible it was. It’s hands-down one of the most amazing tour experiences I’ve ever had.
The moment you walk in, you realize this isn't one of those over-polished, sanitized tourist traps. It feels alive. The tour effortlessly weaves through everything from heavy colonial history and local folklore to genuine paranormal chills and its life as a Hollywood filming location. Honestly, we only scratched the surface of the stories buried in these walls, and I left dying to learn more.
Right now, the castle is in a race against time. Because of restoration limits, you are seeing it in its raw, authentic, and utterly beautiful state—it has so much untapped potential.
Do yourself a huge favor: Go see it. If you physically can't get there, look them up and donate to the restoration. Places like this are rare, and you need to experience it for yourself.
