Beautiful Castle with Stunning Views, But an Outdated Ticketing System

点评：I was highly anticipating a guided tour of Ross Castle after hearing spectacular reviews, but the ticketing process was a major letdown. Since you cannot purchase guided tour tickets online in advance, we had to wait until we arrived to buy them. We pulled up at 1:30 PM, only to find out the next available tour wasn't until 3:00 PM. Because we had a tight itinerary with other local attractions to see, a 90-minute wait just wasn't feasible. Navigating the limited parking lot and making the half-mile walk to the castle only added to the frustration of not being able to book ahead. Aside from taking exterior photos, eating at the outdoor cafe, or taking a horse carriage ride, there isn't much to do while you wait. Ultimately, we snapped some stunning photos of the castle and its beautiful backdrop, then moved on. Coming all the way from America, it was incredibly disappointing to miss out on the inside tour, especially since other visitors mentioned it is well worth the wait. Management should seriously consider updating their system to allow online booking.
