点评：We attended the Hans Zimmer Candlelight Concert this evening at Llandaff Cathedral as a birthday gift and left feeling extremely underwhelmed by the experience.
The performance consisted of only four musicians, which fell far short of our expectations. The sound levels were very low, making it difficult to hear the music clearly, particularly given the size and acoustics of the venue. As a result, much of the performance lacked the impact and immersion one would expect from music of this nature.
I have wanted to attend a Candlelight Concert for a long time, and based on the promotional videos shared on Candlelight’s Instagram, we anticipated a far more powerful and engaging experience. Unfortunately, what we encountered did not reflect those expectations. Visibility was also limited, and combined with the low volume, this significantly diminished our enjoyment of the evening.
Overall, the concert was a disappointment. Given the setting, the reputation of the music, and the way these events are advertised, we expected a much higher standard. Sadly, this performance did not deliver on that promise.
