休德利城堡的点评
点评：We are currently on holiday from Cornwall and staying in The Cotswolds.
Yesterday we arrived by coach as part of a day trip to Sudeley, a party of around forty of us—no small undertaking these days!
When we entered the shop our whole party was greeted by a lovely young lady who gave us some information about the site and the day ahead, she was very polite, warm, personable and made us feel very welcome indeed: dealing with a large group of grumpy OAPs (well some of us) Is no easy task but every question was answered and nothing was too much trouble - We were quite astonished to learn she had only been there a couple of weeks. A real credit to the place—many thanks to her.
The grounds themselves were beautifully kept and a genuine pleasure to stroll around at a leisurely pace. Being able to step inside the chapel and see the tomb of Katherine Parr felt rather special indeed—quite a privilege, really.
All in all, a most enjoyable outing. We shall certainly look forward to returning again in the future.
