A Truly Incredible Junior Zoo Keeper Experience

点评：I grew up in Torbay and have visited Paignton Zoo countless times over the years with my own children, nieces and nephews, but the Junior Zoo Keeper Experience we did yesterday showed me a completely new side to this amazing place.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our experience leader, Tracey, who guided us through the whole day. The children got hands on with so many activities including mucking out and feeding the giraffes, feeding the hogs, baboons, meerkats and lemurs, and even going behind the scenes to make enrichment objects for the monkeys. Different keepers joined us along the way to share their knowledge, and it was clear how passionate and dedicated they all are about the animals.
Tracey was absolutely fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and brilliant with the children. They were completely captivated from start to finish and couldn’t stop smiling. The experience also included a lovely breakfast and drink after feeding the giraffes, plus a special Junior Keeper t-shirt which they were so proud to wear.
Both children gave it 5 out of 5 and I couldn’t agree more. It was such a special, memorable day and we really did feel like keepers for a day. Huge thanks to Tracey and the whole Paignton Zoo team. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone as it is worth every penny and something we will all remember for a long time.
