Winter season is woefully overpriced
Bicton Park Botanical Gardens的点评
点评：At £18 per adult in the Winter months I’m afraid it’s an extremely overpriced attraction - then to require another £4 per person if you want to try the train ride - wow! They couldn’t even be bothered to post the train departure times on the appropriate sign board. Everything that looks interesting is locked up, the church, the cactus greenhouse & the little house by the lake for example.
If you live in Devon and don’t ming paying £36.00 for an annual pass, then maybe a few visits in the Spring, Summer & Autumn will be good value for money, but £18.00 each as a tourist in the Winter - it’s a big waste of money I’m afraid to say. Everything looks in a sorry state, the greenhouse that Kew is allegedly modelled on is so small in reality - the photos have been shot from some very flattering angles.
Good activities for young kids but as a couple, I’d say forget it & spend your money on the Eden project or Helligan for example.
