Great experience and introduction to rallying
Silverstone Rally School的点评
点评：Did a full day experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. Easy to find with entrance next to Aston Martin F1 factory which is just over the road from Silverstone circuit, so if you're a lover of Motorsport and all things driving like myself, definitely a visit worth adding if in the area (I also did karting at Silverstone), but also worth a visit on it's own merit.
Two cars were run simultaneously, each shared by a small group of about 5 or 6 and a designated order. Transitions between each turn was prompt and smooth which really helped with the flow of the day.
Any issues with the cars were quickly resolved so very few delays. Multiple instances of cars getting stuck after a spin or impromptu drive up a bank or scattering of tyres/cones, were quickly dealt with to allow the driver to finish the rest of their session. Couple of lost bumpers too! But such instances are part of rallying and was correctly treated as such! Cars were quickly exchanged for another in the workshop when an issue arose to again remove any real delays or loss of driving time.
Instructors (thanks Josh!) were great and very encouraging which helps you build your skill and confidence throughout the sessions.
Chris, the other instructor, also did a great job in the briefing of explaining various aspects of car control theory and rallying so you went into each session prepared, and his hot laps also looked impressive.
The viewing area gave a good chance to take some videos (or ask a fellow participant to take for you), though be aware that there are sections of the track that aren't going to be visible - but still plenty to see and you learn to look out for the small glimpses and dust clouds or listen for the rest. It would be nice to be able to get some onboard footage but also understand how the repeated switching of driver and cars etc can make that challenging - though should be possible if booking a 1-on-1 coaching session, which I may well try in the future.

观景台提供了很好的拍摄视频的机会（或者可以请其他学员帮忙拍摄），不过要注意的是，赛道的部分路段是看不到的——但仍然有很多值得一看的地方，你会学会留意那些细微的景象和扬起的尘土，或者仔细聆听周围的动静。如果能拍摄一些车载视频就更好了，但我也明白频繁更换车手和车辆等因素会增加拍摄难度——不过如果预订一对一的教练课程，应该可以实现，我以后很可能会尝试一下。
