Silverstone Rally School的点评
点评：i didn’t drive but this was bought for my sister’s boyfriend as a 21st birthday gift. he clearly enjoyed it a lot and was always smiling when got out the car.
when we arrived we were greeted by some very happy, friendly and enthusiastic staff. tea and coffee on the house and the lunch we purchased was very tasty. we had a briefing which was very informal but also upbeat and fun and he included the crowd making jokes and letting people answer questions.
the drivers got given their groups and got into the cars, as said before he clearly enjoyed his time in the car but said the instructor he was with didn’t talk loads and he may have got more / better tuition with the other instructor but we will never know.
he is also very interested in the mechanical side of cars and he was allowed in the garage and to talk to the mechanic and see the cars in the garage which he also enjoyed and all the staff were very encouraging of this.
everyone was also offered a hot lap at the end which we had one booked for him and i also bought one on the day as well. the driver had to change car before i got mine so maybe he had to warm the car up, i don’t know the reason but i felt he didn’t go as hard around the track than other people, i don’t know if that was because i am a girl and younger, or if it was because it was a new car. however, i still really enjoyed the experience as i have never done anything in a rally car before. overall, it was very good experience and great facilities.
