点评:Cost:
The camp host charges $5 which isn't a lot and were quite friendly.
Experience and conditions:
Unfortunately, our experience at the hot tubs was disappointing. The facilities were run-down, with only two tubs available, and the surrounding area looked like it was in disrepair. The single hot tub rooms were condemned, and three additional tubs were unavailable. We opted not to swim due to the limited options and overcrowding.
They have composting flushable outhouses so the smell is limited. However both units did not have toilet paper, so make sure to bring your own.
Past experience:
I'm disheartened by the decline of this once beautiful spot. Fifteen years ago, it was well-preserved and functional, with accessible water for each tub. Now, it's a shadow of its former self, with only two hoses that make the experience tedious.
Recommendations:
To avoid long wait times, consider bringing your own inflatable kiddie pool and bucket. Alternatively, the creeks along the way offer beautiful scenery and pools for swimming.
Fees and maintenance:
The forestry department's decision to charge a fee for managing the hot springs is understandable. However, transparency regarding the utilization of collected funds is necessary. Moreover, hiring a carpenter to repair damaged buildings using fallen logs could improve safety and maintenance.
