A lovely little wildlife park – well worth a visit
Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens的点评
点评：We had a really enjoyable visit to Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens. It’s a lovely little place and perfect for spending a relaxed few hours.
We visited on a Saturday morning, arriving shortly after opening, and it was surprisingly quiet, which made walking around and seeing the animals even more enjoyable.
There were plenty of animals out and about during our visit. One or two enclosures appeared empty, but obviously you can never guarantee that every animal will be visible, particularly if they’re sleeping or hiding away.
The animals we did see all appeared very well cared for. A special mention must go to the staff at the animal feeding area, who were extremely friendly, approachable and knowledgeable and were happy to chat about the animals.
A few areas of the park are perhaps showing their age a little and could benefit from some updating over time, but this certainly didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the day. The gardens have a nice, traditional feel to them, and most importantly, the animals appeared happy and well cared for.
We spent around four and a half hours here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, plenty to see and none of the feeling of being overcrowded that you sometimes get at larger attractions.
Overall, a really enjoyable day out and somewhere we’d certainly visit again.
