Wow, this place is spectacular
Packwood House的点评
点评：This is a beautiful grade 1 listed house, set in wonderful gardens. There was a small gift shop selling various items, which were vety reasonably priced. You can also buy plants. The cost of admission was very reasonable considering how much there is to see and how stunning it was, in fact the whole area surrounding this beautiful property is stunning. The food in the cafe was fairly priced, but if money is tight I recommend you take a picnic and sit in the stunning gardens or in the outdoor seating area. Parking is free and there are electric vehicle charge points. There is no lift to the upper floors so if you have accessibility needs sadly, you cannot access these rooms. but there was a video to watch online so you can see the rooms. Access to the house is via a gravel path therefore, wheelchair users might find this a struggle, this goes for part of the gardens too. Entry to the house is managed via a timed ticket which you get from the visitor reception, this is not pre bookable prior to your visit. There is a well stocked second hand bookshop also which is excellent. Everything about Packwood house is stunning and you will definetly not be dissapointed. There is a fabulous lake and the yew trees are beautiful. The staff were really friendly and knowledgable too. You can also hire a mobility scooter to get around but I am not sure as to the cost. This is a great day out for everyone, on my visit, it was mainly middle aged visitors with the odd child.
