The Tall Ship Glenlee的点评
点评：Had a fabulous day a few weeks ago on the Glenlee Tall ship, tour and afternoon tea, lovely day out.
It was a deal on Itison gifted to us.
Honest review on the deal:
Tour was fab and very informative. Afternoon tea, was including sandwiches, cakes, coffee or tea and jam and a knife was on our plate so naturally we expected scones! I don't particularly like scones but my husband loves them. I felt compelled to ask staff why have we got jam and a knife on our plates, they seemed rather dumb founded and struggled to tell me why. They then said we do have scones if you want one!??? Very strange and I am sure everyone on the tour felt same as would be expecting scones. We were also told there would be no alcohol other than prosecco hence we bought a bottle of it! Think it was £30! I then discover there are beers and cider in their fridge for sale. Again I asked about this and was told they don't always have this and it was leftovers from a function.
I felt the afternoon tea could have been better organised as they should be able to make it clear what choice of alcohol they have on sale as my husband would have been happy with the beer. Also they should not give people the impression they are getting "offered" scones and then not to serve them. One of the staff even did try to compensate by saying ehh there's a scone on the platter, I was like ehh one scone! Still doesn't explain the jam and knife on our plates!
The sandwiches were average and the cakes did not seem home made more like shop bought cakes. It did not take away our lovely experience as we both love boats and as it was a gift it always feels good not to be paying, but I do feel they are skimping on the afternoon tea AND no top ups for the tea or coffee! First time we had experienced this as most places it's actually unlimited.
Overall I would still recommend this but just be aware of what you are getting on arrival.

三明治很一般，蛋糕看起来不像自制的，更像是商店买的。这并没有影响我们美好的体验，因为我们都喜欢船，而且这是别人送的礼物，不用自己付钱感觉很好，但我确实觉得他们在下午茶上偷工减料，而且茶和咖啡也不能续杯！这是我们第一次遇到这种情况，因为大多数地方都是无限量供应的。
总的来说，我仍然会推荐这家餐厅，但请注意您抵达后会体验到什么。
