点评：We took the Glengoyne Tour and Tasting today, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide and host, Jimmy, was exceptionally attentive, warm, and engaging. He explained the whisky-making process in a simple, clear way, answered all our questions, and gave us wonderful recommendations.
The tour offers a fascinating insight into how production, ingredients, and aging materials combine to give each bottle its unique flavor. In my opinion, this blend of factors makes Glengoyne one of the absolute best options for anyone looking to enter the world of whisky. To top it off, the distillery is stunningly beautiful and still maintains its charm as a family business.
A quick tip for future travelers: While they might have last-minute spots available, it is 100% recommended to book in advance to ensure your trip is completely worth it. The tour takes about 1.5 hours, but you definitely want to allocate an extra 30 to 60 minutes of spare time to enjoy the beautiful grounds and shop without rushing. Also, if you are driving, keep in mind that the countryside roads leading there are narrow and often single-lane, so give yourself plenty of time to arrive safely.
For us, this visit was the perfect grand finale to a simply wonderful vacation—the crowning jewel of our time in this beautiful country that has so much to offer. Highly recommended… will definitely come back for the other tasting experiences!
