格拉斯哥市政厅的点评
点评：My Concierege at my hotel recommend one of the free tours at the City Chambers as he knew I was interested in photography.
Glkasgow was the second city of the Empire and this building empahsises this in abundance both inside and outside.
I arrived early and took some photos of the entrances, and there were hardly any people around.
The tour is a first come first served basis with around 25-30 visitors allowed at one time. You need to arrive 30 minutes before your tour to collect your pass.
The guide was very informative and showed the group around the ground and upper floors of the public spaces. However the Banqueting Hall was in use by schools, and the Council Chanbers were also going to be excluded from the tour, but due to a late meeting, the group was able to access the chamber.
The staircases are incredible particuarly the Marble Staircase, which is used in flims to replicate the Vatican.
I thoroughly recommend a visit to the City Chambers as part of your stay in Glasgow.
