考文垂交通博物馆的点评
点评：Exceeded expectations - significantly! Really interesting to see the range of cars, bicycles, motorcycles, lorries - and other specialist vehicles - including the world's 2 fastest cars. All of it British made from Coventry and nearby. Larger museum and collection than expected. We were impressed to see how the manufacturers contributed to the war effort - absolutely vital for the country when it was clearly in need of specialist equipment and innovation.
The café is nice and if you want or need other food options – they are close-by and you can come back after lunch. Your ticket is valid for multiple visits within 12 months.
All the staff are friendly and helpful. A particular mention however to “Den” who has an impressive wealth of knowledge around the development of the two amazing fastest cars. This included the technical and physical challenges along the way & key individuals involved. He easily held our interest and answered all of our questions. Sense of humour too!
All in all a memorable and very worthwhile visit.
