British Motor Museum的点评
点评：Excellent day out !
easy to find just off the M40 , with ample parking spaces. we visited on the 09TH April
we purchased a ticket for 4 . the prices are exceptional value as valid for 12months (and also received GIFT aid if your a tax payer)
The museum itself is bigger than I as expecting
The cars / exhibits were in fantastic condition and well laid out .
We opted for 2 tours -both free and were fantastic !
The tour guide on the first tour of the 2nd building housing the Jaguar/ Daimlers was done by a volunteer-Jim and his colleague who were very knowledgable. It was full of interesting facts and really brought the exhibitions to life .The kids loved it .
Lunch was great with lots of seating and clean tables.
The second tour was a'touch and feel tour' done by another chap also called Jim . This was exceptional . Jim allowed the kids to sit in some of the exhibits and shared his real life experience and passion for the exhibits . The tour was informative and the kids were entertained. Jim was visually impaired . but this didn't stop his passion and enthusiasm shining through .
Overall a great day out and value for money . well done all .
