Could’ve been better, could’ve ended a lot worse!

点评：My husband and I rented ATVS for a few hours. The initial communication and check in process was okay. When we got to where the atvs were stored we noticed 1 had completely bald tires. Since my husband is very experienced he rode that machine. I’ve not driven an ATV so I took the one in better working order . When I started my machine the screen said “maintenance required.” The screen on my husband’s machine didn’t work at all.
After about an hour of riding we stopped to use the bathroom and my husband noticed that the rear tires had almost no air left in them. That cut our ride short. He also had to fight the steering as the atv pulled to the left horribly. There is no cell service and we weren’t given any way to communicate with the business if something went wrong we limped our way back.
Once we returned the machines we went to the office to chat with the owner, Jessica. My husband explained the situation and she immediately got defensive and snipped that her machines are in good working order and were already out once that day. Then asked if we road it back in the rims. My husband made sure not to cause any damage to his machine as we limped back. When my husband said that machine should be taken out of service as it’s unsafe Jessica then stated that they ordered tires in June and they haven’t arrived “due to shipping delays.”
Overall the machine my husband was a piece of garbage and would be horribly unsafe for any level of rider, especially someone like myself.
We also have family who own a prominent business in town and when told them if our experience their response was “I wish we’d asked who you were renting from as we would’ve given you a different recommendation.”
Do your research before renting; there are several options for this type of business/activity in town.
