点评：Brilliant. Fantastic and lovingly restored windows in to the past with enthusiastic interesting and knowledgeable staff on hand. The staff brought the past to life, it was great that they could also tell you about actual individuals who worked in the buildings, be it the widow and family in the Victorian toll house or the police man in the 1940s house around the time of the Battle of Britain. The Black Country is so significant to Britain's development and this is a must for anyone who wants to look at our recent past. Bob on the canal boat was very good and the boat was very cozy but each of the pubs and shops were so worth a visit as well. The hardware shopkeeper was very interesting and the shop was amazing. Definite for a return. So much to see. If you like historic vehicles go here. If you like an old days pub, go here. If you like fish and chips, go here. Including gluten free! If you like to know about mining and experience what it looked like, go here. If you want to step in to a typical Victorian house, 1960s house, 1950s street, or a shop from any of these times go here. If you want to feel what it was like in a cinema in 1921, watch a silent show in one here. If you want to see Victorian industry live at work, watch nails being made by hand here, or see a blacksmith make chains in the way that 90 plus percent of Britain's chains were once made in the Black Country. The buildings are mostly real and have been moved brick by brick from the surrounding area to this site. Definite for a return visit. Thank you BCLM staff.
