点评:Reading other reviews I think your experience is dependent on which carriage you travel in BUT this does not excuse lack of atmosphere when reaching North Pole. Darkness.

Family booking for Polar Express 17/12:23 - 17:25. Cupid Carriage
Pre Covid I took my two older grandchildren on the Polar Express. The event was fabulous and my grandchildren described it as magical. Fun all the way lots of characters entertaining the passengers.
SO WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT was Sundays journey with my two younger grandchildren and other family members.
Carriage Cupid - Two tables + 1 infant.
The cube experience was disappointing. No proper introduction to the event. Two people singing Christmas songs for older people and some snow.
Once on the train we were greeted by the conductor who promised us singing and dancing in our seats and fun all the way.
Very little interaction with the children. Very little singing and definitely no dancing.
A waitress character ran up and down the carriage with a tray shouting Hot chocolate in an American accent this was the sum total of the entertainment.
Golden tickets were punched by the conductor.
A man presumably the hobo walked through the carriage at the beginning of the journey said hello and was never seen again
A waitress appeared with the book toward the end fleetingly.
Any music playing or story telling was inaudible throughout the journey.
We reached the North Pole and sat waiting for???
Santa Claus not your jolly character as expected.
We were served HALF a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie.
The experience was NOT magical. Our train ride from Wolverhampton to Birmingham was more festive.
I had told my son & daughter in law what a great time to expect how wrong was I.
This was well below expected experience.
Friends went on Polar Express from Telford and had a fabulous time in line with my previous experience.
I cannot impress on you my disappointment .
However I would like to thank the staff who assisted my parents who are both wheelchair users on our arrival and boarding the train.
After complaining a 40% refund was given. although accepted didn’t make up for disappointment!!!!
