A Truly Unforgettable Journey to Kaieteur Falls

点评：Visiting Kaieteur Falls was an unforgettable experience. I was completely overwhelmed by the power of the waterfall and the vast rainforest surrounding it. Since the falls are located deep in the interior, the only ways to reach them are by a small plane from Georgetown or by trekking through the rainforest for three days, which makes the place feel truly remote and special.
The flight itself was one of the highlights for me. Flying over the endless rainforest felt like being in a scene from the Jurassic Park movies, and I couldn’t help but feel excited the entire time. The pilot even circled over the falls several times, giving us incredible views from above.
On the ground, I was lucky enough to spot the Golden Rocket Frog, a tiny bright-yellow species found only in this area. I managed to see several of them, which made the visit even more memorable.
Of course, the waterfall itself was spectacular, but what stood out just as much was the experience of flying over such vast rainforest in a small plane. It made the whole journey feel like a true adventure.
A light lunch and drinks were provided, which was a nice touch after exploring the area.
Overall, this tour was a remarkable combination of breathtaking nature, rare wildlife, and a thrilling flight experience. I’m very glad I went.
