点评:Had been meaning to go for a while as we had enjoyed a ride on one of their double deckers to an event at BCC Museum Collection Centre in Nechells last year. I also knew they are working on a tram body from Birmingham which are very rare to see. Went with my 9 year old son on a Sunday. I thought this place would be nice because my son enjoys places like the Midland Air Museum in Coventry, Thinktank museum, Staffordshire Regiment Museum and the Battlefield Line etc. I paid a total of £7 for both of us to get in. Parking was easy just outside and the museum was also easy to find. The £7 included a detailed guide with lots of information. I feel that is really good value. The warm welcome was particularly nice, a good amount of the busses are open for a look around and the ones where the drivers seat is available for sitting in were also pointed out. This was great news for my son. Most of the times when museums have vehicles on display you aren’t able to get in them. To be able to get in them was great, my son greatly enjoyed looking around the double deckers and sitting in the drivers seat of the colourful bus from Malta. But its not just busses that are on display they have a range of vehicles. If you enjoy smaller volunteer run museums that are stuffed from top to bottom with interesting stuff make sure you visit this place. They have running days as well be sure to check the dates out. I was pleased to see the tram body by the way, there was a small display if this interests you I think its worth a visit.
