点评：An interesting day out. Only £3 entrance fee if you are in receipt of Universal Credit. You can avoid the expensive car parking and take the bus from Chesterfield or Sheffield too. Most interestingly, JFK's sister Kathleen is buried on the Chatsworth Estate. Apparently, she married an aristocrat but died in a plane crash in 1948, aged just 28. It was also challenging for the scientific minds at the animal farm when the runt of the litter of piglets struggled to feed. How many of us have thought at times that we were the runt of the litter? Chatsworth House is also a playground for history buffs. In 1688, William Cavendish (4th Earl and later 1st Duke of Devonshire) conspired to overthrow King James II. They planned to invite William of Orange to take the throne, initiating the Glorious Revolution and Protestant Ascendancy in Ireland
