点评：We visited the park again on Friday after a disappointing visit last year where, shortly after arrival I noticed an item that posed a serious health and hygiene risk. I brought this to the attention of a member of staff who said it would be removed immediately. However, hours later it was still in the children’s playground.
When we arrived, we went inside to play mini golf. On hole 1 my son bumped into part of the structure and the it toppled over. My son then fell on a sharp piece of metal that was an attachment that was clearly broken off in the past. He received a painful injury to his side.
I find it extremely disappointing that this equipment, like so much in the park at present, is not closely monitored for safety. From a parent's perspective no parent should not have to be concerned about my child's safety. It simply isn't good enough. Consequently we cut our visit short.
Having visited the park for the last 10 years I have never seen it looking so terribly unkempt. Information signs were lying on the ground, enclosures empty, the hand washing in the play park not working. The play equipment for kids is old and much of it desperately needs replaced.
Last year, it stated on a sign there would be a new attraction inside the aviary by April of this year. Yet it was still closed.
We will not be visiting again with the present ownership who are quite willing to continue to charge a huge amount for a family day out only for them to receive an unsafe and hugely disappointing experience. This park needs huge investment to meet safety standards and justify the prices being charged. AVOID!
