点评：This is only our third visit to this theme park despite it being our closest by far. We first went when our eldest was a toddler and were very disappointed in the complete lack of variation in the rides that he could go on especially compared to somewhere like Alton Towers and even Flamingo Land. We have also been to Legoland, Disneyland Paris, Disney World, Greenwood and Paulton’s Park that all have more varied rides for young children (under 1 metre tall) and a much better cared for environment.
We took him back for a Christmas experience and whilst the surroundings were as scruffy as the first time there were a couple more types of rides he could go on and the show and the visit to Father Christmas were lovely.
For these reasons we waited until our youngest was tall enough for most rides before returning last month. Despite the run down appearance with peeling paint and ripped fabric the staff were lovely, the prices once we were in there were reasonable for food, souvenirs and face painting and our children both had fun.
We visited on the first weekend after school started and didn’t wait long for any ride other than the biggest rollercoaster.
We would probably go back as it is so close to us. We do wish that it has more investment in the future as it is wrong to carry on like that and think that children don’t see or care about its appearance and condition. It blows my mind that it is as scruffy as it is.
