Best visit to Chester zoo ever!
切斯特动物园的点评
点评：We came by train as there is a bus service to the zoo. The number one or X1 in the direction of Liverpool takes you into the zoo itself. £5.70 return.
We had been to the zoo before so received an email talking us about tickets for £20 (adult tickets usually £38)
It's definitely worth planning the route you want to take because the zoo is so big. You could spend a week there and not see everything.
We went to the Tigers first as its a 15 minute walk from the main entrance. The animals are in there, but not guaranteed to show up, so ask members of staff for any info about when feeding is etc.
We checked the zoo website for news about baby animals and the Giant otters had 6 month old Triplets! They were half the size of the adults already.
It realkyvis worth getting there early and pacing yourself. There are lots of benches, toilets and places to get something to ear and drink.
If you want a proper restaurant meal visit the Oakfield. You can reserve a table and see the menu on the zoo website.
I have a bad back so had considered hiring one of the zoo's compact ride on scooters. Its a £25 deposit which you get back. **** These ideally need to be booked well in advance if you need one ****
The gift shop has a vast wall of top quality cuddly toys, if you are on a budget and have children don't go in unless you are prepared to buy them one!
