Still Going Wild After All These Years!
切斯特动物园的点评
点评：I’ve been visiting Chester Zoo since I was about six or seven years old, and all these years later I still never tire of it. Rain or shine, busy or quiet, every visit is different — sometimes the animals put on quite a show, sometimes they clearly have other plans!
There really is something here for everyone, whatever your age. Take a picnic and make a day of it, or, like me with an annual pass, pop in for an hour just because you can. It’s a wonderful place to wander, enjoy the animals and simply see what the day brings.
And there’s so much more going on behind the scenes. Chester Zoo does incredible conservation work both at home and around the world, helping to protect endangered species, supporting breeding programmes and working to return threatened animals to the wild. Knowing that our visits and memberships help support that work makes going there feel even more worthwhile.
There’s a fascinating history behind the zoo too, stretching back nearly a century.
After well over 50 years of visits, it’s still entertaining me — and I think that probably says it all. 🦁🐘🦒
