点评:The parking machine wasn't working so it asked you to pay online via a QR card. The online form is long-winded with lots of unnecessary questions, all designed to get your personal information and to sign you up to mailing lists. At one point there were seven of us standing there trying to complete the form. The online form keeps talking about the payment to park being a donation but all the signs on site say it's a fee to park and you could be fined £50 if you don't pay. Then you get charged an additional service fee for paying online. Then you get asked to agree to gift aid all your payment including the service fee. I refused on principle as I was annoyed. But I also wonder about the legality of a charity claiming gift aid on a parking fee and service charge, as both are payments for a service not a donation. The form refused to work unless I added my email address (unnecessary information for a credit card payment, but presumably a way of ensuring that they can pester me for more money in future). A few minutes later I got a couple of emails, one asking me to print it out and put it in the windscreen of the car. Where the #### am I supposed to get a printer in a car park?
We enjoyed our walk round the parkland.
