Couldn't see the Scott bit
The Polar Museum, Scott Polar Research Institute的点评
点评：Was really looking forward to our visit to the ScottPolar, arrived just after opening time and was informed by the nice lady at Reception that the BBC were doing some filming in the Scott area but would be done in about half an hour, so we went for coffee round the corner.
Returned a bit later to find they were still filming, were told that they'll be done soon, so we started to look round the rest of the museum, I found it fascinating, the trials and hardship the explorers went through.
So by now we have done all the museum apart from the area of Scott's expeditions because yes they are still messing about with cameras in there.
A really nice lady came with a narwhal tusk for us to touch and talk about, she was really pleasant and knowledgeable.
Oh yeah still filming, one of our party attempted to ask them how long they were going to be, she was pretty much ignored, so we left having missed out on the most important part of the museum for us.
Did feel a bit sorry for museum staff as they had to keep apologising to visitors, why could they not have filmed outside of opening hours, but not surprised at all, after all the BBC are superior beings to the rest of us.
Whinging over now, we did enjoy the museum what we saw of it
