点评:We are visiting Cambridge frequently on our outings because there are so many historic places of interest and the travel there by road is quick and direct. Our main target this time was Queens College (ranked no 6 of the Universities on Trip Advisor) and the Mathematical Bridge. Friendly welcome in the gatehouse and the current £5 admission charge was very reasonable for such a beautiful place. There is a well-stocked gift shop, with some premium priced bespoke items. The self-guided tour leaflet was useful but not all of the sights listed are readily identified by signage within the college. There was a specialist exhibition on one of the rooms but we declined to leave our bags etc in the lobby for security purposes so we did not explore that further. Like other universities, most of the buildings are off-limits to public access but Old Hall and the beautiful chapel are open. The central ancient core of the historic old part of the University is very impressive as is the Mathematical Bridge. There were few other visitors despite good weather and we were able to take our time looking around without being disturbed by others. Thoroughly recommended for a visit if you have limited time in Cambridge
