S/V Chaos Interrupted的点评
点评：Ok. Vince, Judy and Jake are easily the best hosts in BVI. Whatever you want to do, they’ll make it happen. Scuba, fishing, snorkel, bar hopping, lounging, floating on a mat by the back of the boat, in the sun, with a cocktail, while your favorite music plays off the boat, card games, anything … and the food. Don’t get me started on the food. Judy whips out these fantastic meals ALL the TIME! It’s unbelievable.
There is a bottomless cooler of beer, waters, sodas (pops, if you’re from up north), seltzers, whatever. The bar is always stocked with perfect booze and mixers.
I kept offering to help drive the boat, but Vince politely encouraged me to relax instead. I never felt like he was concerned that I’d drive that beautiful boat into a shoal, or something.
We talked Vince and Judy into joining us ashore a few times. Drinking and eating about. Those were our Best outings!! (Judy is the secret sauce for having fun ashore, we are convinced. Sorry Vince, but it’s just so true.)
And joining Vince and Jake on their morning strolls ashore is a Must. Either walking a beach. Hiking to the top of an island (The Views!), or chatting up the best Belonger of all time, 91 year old Foxy on JVD (You HAVE to do this - unless you’re easily offended, since Foxy can be a little like a Redd Fox comedy routine, then just go straight to the bakery for mind blowing pastries instead.)
A stop at Willy Ts is always a good idea, especially if the patrons are sliding down the beer soaked bar or jumping off the top deck into the water.
Chaos Interrupted is gorgeous. (Which is probably why Vince didn’t let me drive her!) The accommodations are brilliant. Beds are comfortable. State rooms are perfect.
The bottom line is that you show up as guests, but you leave as family.
If you don’t book a trip on Chaos Interrupted with Vince, Judy and Jake, you need to get your head examined.
(Love you guys. Give Jake a snack for me.)
