Unforgettable Ride with Bonanza Stables – A Hidden Gem on the Island

点评：We had an absolutely incredible experience with Bonanza Stables—easily one of the standout highlights of our trip.
It actually started before we even booked… we happened to see a group of horses running freely down the beach and were completely surprised—we didn’t even know there were horses on the island! That moment alone sold us.
While many people go for the classic “gallop through the surf” experience, we decided to try something a little different and chose the trail ride up to the radio towers—and we’re so glad we did. The ride was scenic, peaceful, and at times thrilling, with stunning views as we climbed higher. We even had some great opportunities to canter along the way, which made it feel like a real adventure rather than just a casual ride.
The horses were well cared for and responsive, and the use of western saddles was a huge plus—especially on some of the steeper descents where the added stability made a big difference.
A special thank you to Ryan, who was fantastic throughout—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about both the horses and the island. He made us feel comfortable and added so much to the overall experience.
If you’re visiting and looking for something unique, this is absolutely worth doing. Whether you’re an experienced rider or just looking for a memorable outing, Bonanza Stables delivers something really special.
