Jetty Road的点评
点评：If you are visiting Glenelg for a beach day, Jetty Rd is where you will go to find the shops, cafes, casual restaurants and bars. It’s the main street in Glenelg, running from busy Brighton Rd down to Glenelg Beach.
If like us, you catch the beach tram here, you get off at Jetty Road. The tram was so easy. It runs regularly between the beach and city and within 30 minutes, we were getting off at Glenelg. It really couldn’t have been more straightforward.
The most interesting part of Jetty Road is the end closest to the beach.
As you go further away from the beach, the restaurants start to peter out and there’s less to look at.
At the beach end, Jetty Rd opens up into Moseley Square. Large palm trees and a central water feature give the place a tropical holiday feel. At night the palms twinkle with fairy lights.
Here, you’ll also find the historic Town Hall (now a visitor centre and local museum), the Pioneer Memorial, a ferris wheel and the Glenelg Jetty which stretches over 200 metres out to sea.
