点评：Rosslyn Chapel is an absolute masterpiece and it is a must see. Our visit was made truly special by the amazing staff. So take a moment and engage. Ask questions. You will be rewarded.
The visitor center does a fantastic job of setting the stage, but stepping inside the chapel itself is awe-inspiring. Every square inch of stone is covered in breathtaking detail—from the legendary Apprentice Pillar and the mysterious Green Men carvings to the ornate carved ceiling and rich historical symbolism.
The undisputed highlight of our day was connecting with Rudi, one of the chapel guides. Rudi generously took time out of his day to speak with us personally, sharing his deep knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for the chapel’s history. His insights brought the stonework and centuries of lore to life in a way a self-guided walk never could.
Pro Tip: Don’t rush off after seeing the chapel interior! Make sure to budget enough time to wander the beautiful surrounding grounds, take the short walk down into the glen, and visit the stunning ruins of Rosslyn Castle nearby.
A five-star experience all around—and if Rudi is working during your visit, you are in for an absolute treat!
