点评：We booked the catamarans for a guided tour of Hilton Head Island for my family of four. None of us had ever done anything like this before so we were a bit nervous. We need not have been. Our guide, Nick, had an excellent orientation on how to operate the boats and had us practice shifting the gears before we actually took the boats out. The boats are built for two, one driver and one passenger so my husband and I each took a tween girl with us and we operated the boats ourselves. Right as we got going, I could tell this was going to be the best part of our vacation. There were four boats in my group and we all formed a line behind Nick, who guided us around the island. We stopped every few minutes to gather around Nick for some insight as to what was around us. We learned so much, from celebrity weddings to an island filled with monkeys to dolphin sightings. It was all fascinating to learn about and the 2 and a half hour tour flew by. Part of what made this tour so enjoyable was Nick’s ability to sense the comfort level of each person and tailor the experience as necessary. For instance, my 12 year old daughter took awhile to get used to the ride so he took us through the more calming waters and kept a medium speed. When we returned, I told my husband to tip him generously. A couple of days later, Nick sent us some pictures and videos of our day. I highly recommend people of all ages in your family reserve a catamaran tour of Hilton Head Island for yourselves. You will love it!
