点评：Visited with my daughter on the way back from a holiday.
Warm welcome on entrance and the lady who scanned our NT card took the time to explain where everything was.
We skipped the walled garden and went straight to the cafe in the farm area. Bit of a gloomy building and didn't see as much choice as other NT cafes and as per usual, over priced for what it is.
There was also outdoor seating but all the shaded seating was taken and it was a hot day.
Also if anyone from NT is reading, please stop putting watercress in the tuna sandwich, it completely over powers the tuna!
Pretty long walk to the house though there were shaded stops on the way. We stopped at the Summer of Fun play area which was ok, not as well equipped as our local one at Hardwick Hall.
The servants quarters were interesting and the photography exhibition in the main house was also great - shame you couldn't take photos of that part.
Couldn't face the walk back in the heat so hopped on the free shuttle bus, definitely a decision well made!

一进门就受到了热情的接待，那位扫描我们国家信托卡的工作人员还花时间向我们介绍各个区域的布局。
我们跳过了有围墙的花园，直接去了农场区的咖啡馆。那栋建筑略显阴暗，提供的选择也比其他国家信托旗下的咖啡馆要少；和往常一样，价格也与其品质不相符，偏贵了些。
咖啡馆也有户外座位，但所有有遮阳的座位都已被占满，那天天气又很热。
另外，如果国家信托的工作人员正在阅读此评论的话……请别再在金枪鱼三明治里加西洋菜了，它完全盖过了金枪鱼的味道！
虽然去房子的路挺长的，但沿途有一些阴凉的休息处。我们在“夏日欢乐”游乐区停了下来，那里还行吧，不过设施不如我们当地哈德威克庄园里的游乐区完善。
