点评：This palace is an actual still in use palace for the royal family. I had the pleasure of going on the self guided tour on my last day in Scotland. All admissions include a free audio guide that gives you the highlights inside the palace. You cannot take pictures inside (though I got a couple before I saw the signs and someone stopped me from taking more), so you'll have to believe me when I tell you how gorgeous it is. Many of the rooms on display have historical pieces out for visitors to see. And the audio guide gives you valuable information about different items in each room. Our tour group was not the only one there, and some of the rooms were very crowded. You are able to go at your own speed and I only spent about half the allotted time we were given to see the palace actually touring it. This was probably one of the highlights of my trip to Scotland.
