点评：We just returned from another incredible narrowboat holiday (May 2026), and I cannot recommend Art Of Leisure enough. This was our second time booking with them, and once again, they exceeded all expectations. We traveled as a group of friends—the "Drunken Sailors"—and we are already planning our next trip back!
From the moment we arrived at North Kilworth Marina, we felt right at home. We were greeted by the owner, Abi, who made us feel so welcome. It was such a lovely personal touch that she remembered all of our names from our previous booking; it’s that level of care that sets Art Of Leisure apart.
Stepping onto the Artful Dodger, everything was absolutely spot on. The boat was immaculate, featuring clean, fresh-smelling bedding and a very well-maintained interior. After a thorough handover and safety briefing, Abi expertly piloted us out of the marina, reassuring us that she was just a phone call away should we need anything at all.
Our route took us through some stunning scenery:
Foxton Locks: An absolutely amazing site with breathtaking views. We spent the night at the top and were the first boat down the next morning. The lock keepers were incredibly friendly and greeted us with a smile, which made the experience even better.
Market Bosworth Basin: We spent a lovely evening here and even spotted the sister ship, Maggie (which we stayed on during our last trip). Both boats have been freshly painted and look absolutely beautiful.
Welford: We finished our second night in Welford, another truly beautiful destination.
returning to the marina on Monday morning, we were greeted once again by Abi. Everything about this weekend—from the ease of the booking to the quality of the boat—was perfect. If you are looking for a relaxing, high-quality canal holiday, look no further than Art Of Leisure. We had a brilliant time and can't wait to see you all again!
