One of the few wonders in the UK, that everyone has to see once in their life.

点评：Visited on the hottest day of the year and was directed into a car park in a field 1/4 mile away from the main car park. Walked all the way to the top of the hill looking down at the path leading down to the door. Found that because of the loose stones walking down was exceedingly difficult as the stones made it unsafe because they slide when stood on. So many people were falling over due to this,
It just makes it too dangerous for some of the older people attempting the decent. Dogs were being dragged down when clearly some were in distress with the heat or being carried by their owners. Watching a few familes going down with small children wearing no hats and having all generations from tots to grandparents was just amazing to watch. How some of them were going to get back up would have been interesting to see. Once to the bottom of the steep hill there were further steps to go down but they need a safety rail to assist everyone as the steps were uneven in their heights, once on the beach it was packed out with hardly anywhere to sit. Then you have to contemplate the climb back up which again was a mixture of danger and strength due to the steepness and the loose rocks on the path, people were taking breaks going up and down. Once you reached the top the refreshment shack sold water at 2.50 a carton (recyclable nice touch) ice cream shack was shut because they ran out of ice cream.
If you want to visit this place and see the door come early to park near the top (car park is expensive so be prepared) and walk down on the grass paths, not for buggies or prams and don’t forget anything the climb is treacherous.
