Great café, but plan your visit if mobility is a concern

点评：Visited on a weekday in the early afternoon and found the place busy, which is always a good sign. The car park is well laid out, and we were able to find a space quickly, so it was a smooth start.
We headed for the café first, but the visit was slightly let down by this. The route takes you through the garden centre, and it is quite a long walk, too long really for one of our party. We only realised afterwards that you can access the café directly via the exit, which would have made things much easier. Because of this, we ended up effectively “starting again” after lunch, which cut our visit a bit short.
That said, once we were inside, the garden centre itself is excellent. The layout is impressive, and there is a really wide range on offer, including plants, garden equipment, accessories, food and drink, gifts, and plenty more items to browse. It is the sort of place where you could easily spend a good amount of time.
We visited the café. It is a beautiful space with plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Ordering was straightforward, service was friendly, and the food was very good, with tasty, generous portions and reasonably priced. It genuinely exceeded expectations.
If there is one suggestion, it would be clearer signage for café access, especially for those who may struggle with a longer walk.
Overall, this is a destination in its own right, whether you are a keen gardener, visiting as a family, or just going for the café. We would definitely return. Next time, we will go straight in via the café entrance and probably try breakfast or perhaps the afternoon cream tea.
