点评:My family and I have been hiking to these waterfalls for about 14 years now, and they recently revamped the entire trail. It used to be a very skinny, muddy, slippery trail that I would have only recommended for experienced hikers but now it's mostly a wide gravel path with some wooden paths to cross the marshy/swampy areas that make it a great family hike. Those areas (and closer to the river) are filled with mosquitos, so bug spray is a must. It's 1.3 miles to the main falls each way, and we've visited in all seasons but winter. Spring definitely has the most impressive waterfalls, but you can explore more on exposed rocks during summer and fall. There's a slightly rougher trail down to the Upper Falls but it's definitely worth it! The trail continues on where you can view the Upper Falls from a lower perspective. Then there's another rougher trail that takes you to the main falls, while the main trail goes to a clearing with a view of the falls that's perfect for eating lunch at. There's also a bridge to cross the river; the North Country Trail continues to the left, but there's an unmarked trail on the right to a cave like overhang that is right next to the falls.
