Peru Treks & Inca Trail的点评
点评：My adult son and I decided to check the Inca Trail off my bucket list before I turn 60. We chose Peru Treks because it is a local company that employs knowledgeable locals as guides and my friends had a good experience with them. We booked the 12 day trip that included some time in Lima, Cusco and nearby areas, 4 days on the Inca trail to Machu Picchu, and ending in the jungle of Puerto Maldonado.
Before we left, the office put us in contact with Darwin, who was our trip organizer. He was available by WhatsApp for questions, made arrangements for our transportation, picked us up at the airportnon Cusco and even showed us the sights of Cusco for an afternoon. He was responsive during the trip.
We went at the end of the rainy and low season and totally lucked out with the weather on our trek. Our guide, Juan Carlos was knowledgeable, helpful and a great communicator. The cook accommodated our challenging dietary restrictions and the food was truly impressive. The porter team was respectful, hard working and all from local farms.
My one caution if you are co soldering booking this trip is to not count on a restful vacation. The itinerary is jam packed and most often starts early. Everything in Peru takes a while to get to and we have had a lot of vehicle time. The hotels have been nice and the services well coordinated.
