点评：An amazing full day exploring the Farne Islands with Ollie!
So many birds already at this time of year when they are only returning for the season, not being from this area it's hard to imagine how many there will be in summer. It was just wonderful to see the various birds (puffins, guillemots, shags, cormorants, razorbills, terms, some gannets,...) and seals from the kayak while keeping a responsible distance.
I am so glad I hired Ollie. With decades of experience his knowledge of the Farne Islands and the sea around here is fantastic. I had so much fun and learnt loads about wildlife and the history of the islands. I came without my kayak and paddle so those were provided for me which was great. Ollie made sure I had time to ease myself into the paddle before we crossed to the islands. He explained the tidal currents around the islands and gave kayaking tips and insights throughout the day. I felt very well looked after, enjoyed the pace of the day, the different sea states to paddle through, the chat and sharing of knowledge. I recommend anyone looking for a kayaking guide in the area to contact Active4Seasons!
