点评:I'll admit it...I love cemeteries. I don't find them morbid or depressing, but instead peaceful and calming. And the Tomb of Mac Chagall is in an absolutely beautiful spot. Overlooking the valley, the tomb itself is easy to find and well marked. And it was interesting to see. But for me, there were three more interesting aspects. First, the small chapel that dates back to the 14th century...over 100 years before Columbus! Second, the astounding views from the cemetery....I'd love to be buried here. And finally, the most human component that the cemetery is still being used today! There are several tombs who have been created within the last 5 years. So often older cemeteries haven't been used in centuries...they're interesting, but difficult to connect with as they're so far in the past. To see a cemetery currently being used, that has structures from 600+ year ago, creates in my mind a sense of continuity that connects the past with today. Definitely worth a visit!!
