点评：Slightly mixed experience. The service, albeit friendly, was a little haphazard and
our hosts were disappointed to find that the beef and ale pie (they were looking forward to) was not available. There were a couple of errors - one of our number was brought the wrong main dish and I had to remind the waitress of my cheese course. Coffees were brought too early so were going cold by the time the desserts arrived. However, I have to say that my Barnsley chop was absolutely delicious so hats off to the chef for that. My starter (crevettes) from the 'Specials' board was also top drawer. The setting is picturesque being right on the river but for first timers please note there is no onsite parking ..you have to use the NCP across the road. Really I should be giving a 3* rating but my Barnsley chop (still salivating 3 weeks on) has moved the needle!
