Lack of Transparency and Customer Service Let Us Down

点评：Raising a complaint regarding our recent visit to Dundonald International Ice Bowl on 18 April 2026 at approximately 3:30 PM.
Our party of five attended as walk-in customers with the intention of playing one game of tenpin bowling. Upon arrival, we were advised that a lane would be available in approximately 30 minutes, which we were happy to wait for. We proceeded to pay and were assigned lane number 10.
However, just over halfway through our game, our lane was unexpectedly shut off. When I approached the desk to enquire, I was only then informed that a single game is limited to 30 minutes, regardless of whether the game has been completed. This policy was not communicated to us at any point prior to or during payment.
We asked to speak with a manager to see if there was any possibility of finishing our game, Unfortunately, the manager declined this request and responded in a manner that we found dismissive and unhelpful, stating that we had been informed of the 30-minute limit, which was not the case.
As a result, our group left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with the experience. This is particularly disappointing as we had intended to return regularly and make use of your facilities.
I would strongly recommend that clearer communication is provided to customers regarding time restrictions before payment is taken, and that greater consideration is given to customer service in resolving such issues.
(There’s other facilities nearby, with the likes of Airtastic with friendly staff and the ability to play a full game of Tenpin Bowling without being cut off).
