Cheddar Gorge & Caves的点评
点评：We used Tesco vouchers to get money off our visit here. If we had had to pay full price it would have felt a bit expensive. You are only allowed to go in each cave once, I feel that if you could go back in, it wouldn't be too bad price wise.
Your ticket gets you in to the two caves, the museum, Jacob's ladder (steps to go on top of the gorge) and a video about the gorge.
We went when they had the Aardman display in the large caves and it was fantastic to see (which is why we'd have liked to go around for a second look later).
I recommend you get there just before opening time, you can easliy get a parking spot (£7 for all day) and you can do the first cave whilst it's quiet and walk around listening to the story about the caves without too many other people.
There are toilets near the bottom of the gorge, but they charge 50p, so I recommend you just go up to the main building and use those toilets.
The museum is good to look around. Also, it's a steep climb up Jacob's ladder, but there are resting spots along the way, and the views are amazing, so it is worth the trek up.
We didn't do any, but they have lots of activities there, like caving or climbing.
The gorge has some lovely little shops in, including the Christmas shop, which sells Christmas items all year round!
You can get food up at the main building or there are quite a few places to eat in the gorge (including a shop that sells Cheddar cheese ice cream! We were not brave enough to try it)
It was a lovely day, just a bit pricey for not being able to go back in the caves.
