Dismal cafe but wonderful museum
American Museum & Gardens的点评
点评：Museum & gardens are a delight. Strongly recommend a visit to both.
However avoid the cafe.
After the museum and its exhibitions on American life we were both hungry for something typically American. I fantasised about a succulent hotdog with fried onions or a slab of homemade apple pie. I ended up with a dreary pulled pork something on bad bread. My partner has the worst Mac & cheese we have eaten anywhere. Two of the restaurant’s tables were full of uncleared crockery & half-eaten food (now I know why). I was SO tempted to clear them myself but spotted a member of staff on their break busy ignoring them while the two counter staff chatted about their other colleagues while they served us.
The cafe is in a beautiful building. The tables etc lovely but the food is terrible. Everything looked limp & disappointing. I rarely leave food unfinished but this time we both couldn’t stomach more than a few bites.
In short this restaurant needs a rethink. Make it simpler, make it more American & give your staff something to be proud of. The worst cafe in a restaurant I have EVER visited (and I have visited many).
Please don’t let my review put you off the museum or gardens. Five stars for both.

总之，这家餐厅需要好好改进一下。让它更简洁，更美式一些，让你的员工有值得骄傲的地方。这是我去过的最糟糕的餐厅咖啡厅（而且我去过很多家）。
请不要因为我的评论而对博物馆或花园失去兴趣。两者都值得五星好评。
